2025 APM and calendar
The FGCC annual planning meeting was held on Friday 10th January in the Tajdar restaurant, Findon following an aperitif or two in the Village House pub.
The first important date to determine was the Annual gala night which will be held on Friday 7th March when plaudits will be given to individual gentlemen for efforts and achievements during the past medal and appropriate medals presented.
The annual “long ride” had already been organised, this being a the Hadrians Wall (or end of empire) ride at the end of May.
Other rides and breks were also added to the calendar and this has now been published on the FGCC website – see FGCC calendar
At the end of the evening it was time to present the annual Bling awards for total miles ridden and heights climbed, the unit of measure of the latter being Everests. Yet again the winner of the heights award is Mr Avery but he also added the distance award to his tally. The Bulldog Bling results are shown in the table below along with a photo of Mr Avery – blurred picture having nothing to do with the consumption of Cobra during the evening of course.
